Our Mission Statement

Protect The Important’s mission is to teach the safe, responsible, and proper use of firearms. Founded by a firearm owner and instructor certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA), Protect The Important is committed to providing the highest quality education that will enable individuals to make informed decisions for their personal safety and firearm usage.
PTI’s goal is to build a community where firearm owners are knowledgeable, skilled, and responsible. We believe that the proper attitude combined with quality training and regular practice is essential to firearms safety whether used for sport or protection.

Basic Pistol Shooting Course in California

The Basic Pistol Shooting class is for all individuals regardless of previous experience. The class teaches the students how to safely handle, store, aim, shoot a handgun. The class also includes information about California laws which can be very confusing.
